CULTURED PEOPLE
You complain people "don't understand you" or "you do not get the chances in life." People understand you perfectly well. If you do not understand yourself, please don't blame them
As for chances - you generate your own in this life.
Every one of us has a talent, if that talent is true, people will always respect you for pursuing it
You have one terrible failing...your lack of culture. You see, life has conditions. To be comfortable, at-ease or happy you must be cultured to a certain extent. Your talent will take you into right circles, but you'll need a degree of culture to flourish within them.
Cultured people are able to satisfy the following conditions:
They show respect for others, are gentle, polite and are ready to listen to alternative opinions. They do not interrupt, shout or resort to personal attacks
They do not make a drama out of small issues or speak harshly behind people's backs. They show empathy for others, not just for those they know. Their heart aches for what the eye does not see. They respect the property of others and act with integrity in money matters
They are sincere and dread lying. A lie is insulting to the listener and degrades the speaker. They behave consistently on the street and at home. They do not go about babbling or forcing uninvited opinions upon another's ears
They do not play on the strings of other people's hearts to gain pity or funds. They do not say "I'm not appreciated" or
"I do not have enough money" because this is striving for cheap effect, its vulgar, stale and false
They certainly do not watch cheap tv and make conversation, as if it's essential, or care for such false diamonds as knowing celebrities, shaking hands with the drunken or strut about telling others of their goals or boast of having the entry where others are not admitted
The genuinely talented seek obscurity among the crowd. If they have a talent, they respect it. They sacrifice things for it, such as rest, wine and vanity. They take pride in their talent
They develop the beautiful feeling in themselves. They cannot go to sleep in their clothes, breathe bad air, spit, fart or cook by microwave. They restrain their sexual instinct. What they seek in a partner is not sex or finance...but someone to love, respect and support
They especially want to be artistic, seek freshness, elegance, humanity and to enjoy the capacity of love. They do not swill vodka at all hours or sniff cocaine, for they are not pigs and know they are not
To be cultured, you don't need superior education or be born into a particular social position. What is required is good intention day and night. Honesty, practice, will-power, kindness, and truth. And to understand every moment is precious for these things
